Where do you get your items?
We get our merchandise from a number of different channels: movie studio promotions and premiers, from private collectors, at auctions, from employed chasers, through wholesalers and clearinghouses, and even through in-person meetings.
Are these items genuine? What guarantee do you offer regarding an item's authenticity?
Yes, the autographed items are genuine, and are issued with a lifetime COA (Certificate of Authenticity) as certification that the signatures are hand-signed by the relevant person (and not done via autopen, stand-in, or the like). Most COAs are issued by us; if the item did not originate with us, then the original COA is included. Please note that COAs are not issued for vintage posters and other non-autographed items, since there are no signatures to validate. questions about the legitimacy of an item you have purchased from us, please contact us immediately, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Some items are listed as having a hologram seal. What is that?
Some items carry a hologram seal on their backs (or some other unobtrusive spot); these holograms will match a similar hologram affixed to the respective item's COA (Certificate of Authenticity) and is just one more assurance that the item is genuine.
What payment forms do you accept? How are payments handled?
We accept all major credit cards as well as checks, money orders and PayPal. We use PayPal to process payments; however, you do not need a PayPal account to purchase our merchandise -- PayPal also handles credit card sales! Please note that paying by check or money order will increase the time it takes for the payment to clear and thus for the shipping process to commence. Contact us prior to purchase if you have any questions or wish to make alternate payment arrangements.
What is your return policy?
For most transactions, you have fourteen (14) days to return items for a full refund, and thirty (30) days for a refund less the initial shipping costs and a 5% restocking fee. Occasional items and circumstances (e.g. -- damage incurred during transit, etc.) merit a different policy; if you have any questions, contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that all items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, unless transit damage is the reason for return.
Can you hold a piece for me? How about a layaway plan?
Not as such, no. However, we do offer zero-percent interest 90-day layaway plan for items that cost more than $250. You lay down a non-refundable down payment of a third or more of the purchase price, and pay off the balance in two equal installments. Contact us prior to purchase for more details.
How are your items shipped? When can I expect my order to arrive?
Within the US, most items are shipped Priority Mail via the United States Postal Service with full insurance once payment has cleared. The shipping process thus usually takes no more than four days. Depending on the payment type, you should expect that your order would be at your door in no more than 10-14 days, usually much faster. We can ship overnight or two-day delivery for an additional fee; please contact us prior to purchase for alternative shipping arrangements.
How much should we expect to pay for shipping?
It depends on the type of merchandise. Most posters carry a $16.00 shipping/handling/insurance fee anywhere in the USA; 8x10s are usually $10.00. Certain vintage advertising posters may carry a higher handling fee.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, for an additional fee. Most items will be shipped and charged via Standard Airmail; overnight or express services are not available. Please note that shipping internationally may necessarily add additional time to delivery estimates. Please contact us for shipping rates prior to purchase for international orders.
I want to purchase more than one item from you, but I'd like them shipped together in order to reduce the shipping costs. Can I do that?
Yes. Contact us prior to purchasing and we will give you a revised shipping figure for multiple-item purchases.
Do you do framing?
Yes, for an additional fee. Please contact us prior to purchase for personalized assistance in choosing and assembling frames.
I'm looking for something you don't have listed. Can you help me?
We can try. Contact us by filling out the request form and we will get back to you as soon as possible on the feasibility of tracking down your special request. Please note that special orders are not eligible for our layaway program.
I have an autographed item. Will you authenticate it for me?
Unfortunately, no. Due to liability reasons, we no longer offer authentication services.
